The Gordian knot

Handmade by Koko Mosaico, direct technique on limestone.

Wooden frame painted with acrilics, cement mortar, hand-cut marble tesserae with the ancient mosaic tools, the hammer and the hardie.

The artwork represents a Gordian knot of the Domus del Chirurgo of Rimini (IV secolo d.C.).
