Sulle colline di Assisi

This artwork was created for the group exhibition “Ravenna Tells the Story of Francis”, held in the cloisters of the Oriani Library from October 18 to November 2 during the 2025 Ravenna Mosaic Biennale.

Curated by Sister Anastasia and organised together with the mosaic artists of Racconti Ravennati, the exhibition presents a series of interpretations exploring the life of Saint Francis from different perspectives.

Arianna Gallo chose to portray him as a traveller and a messenger of Christ’s word, highlighting the most human and itinerant dimension of the saint.
